In 1996, she decided to make a career of it, and she received her Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. From there, she researched all current Pilates programs that had been incorporated into the field of physical therapy, and eventually had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Christine Romani-Ruby, PT, MPT, ATC. She was able to advance her Pilates education under the tutelage of PHI Pilates and became a PMA certified teacher in 2009.
